This Privacy Policy explains how UNISTAYS LTD LETTINGS handles information in connection with the Unistays Rental Android application, published under the package name uk.co.unistaymanage.tenure.stayspace.branch.unistays. It applies to the app itself and to any correspondence you have with the company about it.

Unistays Rental is a local rental outcome estimator. It produces indicative monthly and annual retained income figures from assumptions you enter yourself. The calculations and the scenarios you save are held on your device, and a summary leaves the app only if you choose to export or share it.

Exporting and Sharing Your Estimates

The app lets you export or share a locally generated summary through Android system actions, such as the share sheet. This happens only when you initiate it, and the app does not send that summary anywhere on its own.

Data therefore remains on the device unless you choose to export, copy or share it. Once a summary has been exported, it remains wherever you save or send it, and how a recipient handles it is outside the company's control.

Contact and External Services

Some actions in the app open another application on your device. When you select one of them, the app may open an external Android service such as a browser or an email client. Those external services operate under their own privacy practices.

If you email the company, the company receives your email address and whatever your message contains. That correspondence is separate from the estimate data held inside the app, and it is kept only so that the company can read and respond to it.

What the App Does Not Include

Unistays Rental does not require login or account registration, does not provide payment processing or subscription functionality, and does not provide monetisation features. There is no account to create in order to use the estimator, and no cloud synchronisation of your saved estimates.

Important Use Notice

The figures the app produces are indicative planning estimates derived from the inputs you provide. They are based on your own assumptions and observations, and no live market data is used in the calculation.

Nothing in the app or in its output constitutes legal, financial, insurance or regulatory advice. The estimates are a practical aid to your own thinking and are not a substitute for professional, legal, financial, insurance or regulatory assessment of a particular tenancy or property.

Security

Your estimate content is kept within the application's own storage on the device and is not held on company servers. Protecting the device itself, for example through the screen lock you configure, remains with you, and you are likewise responsible for any file you export or share.

Your Rights in the United Kingdom and the EEA

Because the app's core workflow does not transmit your estimate data to the developer, there is generally no developer-side copy of it for the company to act on. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may have rights under applicable data protection legislation, including rights of access, correction, deletion and restriction, where those rights apply and depending on whether personal data is being processed.

Locally stored content can usually be managed on your device, including by deleting individual saved estimates or by uninstalling the application. If you have written to the company by email, you may ask about that correspondence using the contact details below.

Children's Privacy (13+)

Unistays Rental is intended for users aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. The company does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If such information is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it or otherwise address the situation.

This policy may be revised from time to time, for example if the app's features change. When a revision is made, the date shown at the top of this page is updated, and the version published here is the one that applies.
